When: Thursday, September 12, 2019
Time: Registration begins at 11:30am followed by the program from 12:00pm – 1:00pm (lunch will be served) and then networking from 1:00pm – 1:30pm.
Venue: Amegy Bank – 1717 West Loop South Houston, TX 77027
Parking: Park in the parking garage attached to the Amegy Tower. Get on the elevator in the garage and take it to the 9th floor. Registration will be right next to the elevator lobby.

What: Financial Fitness is one of four WISE Signature Events. With a growing number of women owned businesses and the rising number of women in business leadership roles, the Financial Fitness program is designed to provide members with the resources and tools for better fiscal management, both personally and professionally. If you understand what you make, save and spend, you will have the basis for making good financial decisions. In prior years we have addressed the topics of salary negotiation, wage disparity, retirement planning,and personal financial management. This year we are excited to showcase a nationally recognized leader in successful investing for women.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH.
Ms. Tengler is the Chief Investment Strategist for both Tengler Wealth Management and ButcherJoseph Asset Management, LLC. As a senior member of our investment team, she also has a lead role on the ButcherJoseph Asset Management Investment Committee. In these roles Nancy is responsible for active equity management research and portfolio management as well as leading our wealth management services.
Nancy is also a committed advocate of financial literacy as the founder and CEO of Financial IQ Training Services, which encourages women to take charge of their own financial planning. She has also authored a book, “The Women’s Guide to Successful Investing,” as well as publishing several investment columns for women.
Prior to joining ButcherJoseph Asset Management to launch Tengler Wealth Management, Ms. Tengler had a distinguished investment management career in several senior leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Chief Investment Officer at Heartland Financial where she was also a Director of Arizona Bank & Trust. Nancy has also served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Fremont Investment Advisors in San Francisco. Prior to that she was President and Chief Investment Officer of Global Alliance Value Investors where she was the Senior Member of the Value Tech and Value 30 investment strategies. She also worked for UBS Asset Management as Head of the Value Equities Group and with Spare, Tengler, Kaplan and Bischel, Ltd. as President and Portfolio Manager.
Ms. Tengler has been an Adjunct Professor at St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA and is a Member of the MFA Advisory Board of the college. She also serves on the Board of ACEE in Phoenix, AZ. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Point Loma College and a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from St. Mary’s College from 2007 to 2009.
