WISE Derby Day at Sam Houston Race Park

When:  Saturday, May 5th, 2018

Time:  3:00pm – 6:00pm

Who:  WISE Members & Guests. WISE Members are free and guests may register for a fee of $20. Men are welcome to join us at this event!

What:  Join us at Sam Houston Race Park to experience the Kentucky Derby the way it is meant to be! Enjoy live racing, learn how to wager, drink a mint julep, and watch the big race from Kentucky on our big screen here at the track.  Food will be provided. WISE will sponsor the first drink and cash bar to follow.

We will also be hosting a children’s book drive for the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation. Please bring any children’s books you’d like to donate and you will receive one (1) raffle ticket per book donated.

…..And, we will have a “Derby Hat Contest” with prizes!

Attire:  Wear your “Derby Hat” and inspired ensemble.

Where:  7575 N Sam Houston Parkway West, Houston, TX 77064 – Founders Room

Parking:  General parking is free and valet parking is $10. Keep in mind that valet parking fills very quickly.
